Here’s a hotel I can’t stop recommending in the Ratchada area, close to the sights and super convenient for food: Best Western Ratchada Hotel.
Location
The hotel is on Ratchada Soi 3, close to MRT Phra Ram 9 and MRT Thailand Cultural Centre. It’s easy to get to Central Rama 9, The Street Ratchada and Jodd Fairs, and it’s not far from the well-known restaurants in the area. Getting around by train or taxi is easy.
Design and Swimming Pool
The hotel is a U-shaped building in lovely, modern tones, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. There’s an outdoor saltwater pool right in the middle of the hotel.
Deluxe Room
The room is spacious, with clearly separated work and relaxation areas. The bathroom has separate wet and dry zones and a double sink. This room honestly made me feel right at home.
Restaurant
The hotel restaurant has a refreshed menu, especially its donburi rice bowls with lots of toppings to choose from, like mala pork, pork tonkatsu or shrimp with creamy egg. Every dish was tasty and nicely presented.
Summary
A really great choice for anyone looking for a place to stay around Ratchadaphisek: easy to get around, close to the sights, and fully equipped with everything you need.
