If you want to escape the chaos and stay on an island where you wake up to the sea right in front of you, Centara Villas Phi Phi Island is another place I really want to recommend.
The Stay
It’s a resort surrounded by nature on Koh Phi Phi, with a pretty peaceful and private atmosphere. It’s perfect for a laid-back stay with no packed plans — wake up and take life slowly, spending the whole day at the resort.
On this trip I stayed in an Ocean View Villa. The room is a nice size, with a balcony where you can sit out in the breeze and take in a full, sweeping view of the sea. Waking up, opening the curtains and seeing a view like this — honestly, I barely wanted to leave the room.
Facilities
The resort has everything you need: a swimming pool, a beachfront area, restaurants and a spa. You could lounge around and relax all day without getting bored, and if you’re the active type, you can head out snorkeling or diving and do other sea activities too.
Food
On this trip I ate most of my meals at Maya Breeze, an all-day dining restaurant with a pretty wide variety of dishes to choose from. Whatever the meal, you can just drop in.
Breakfast is a buffet line, so you can wake up and help yourself to whatever you like — whether you’re an eggs person, a bread person, or want to go all out and try a bit of everything.
Final Thoughts
What I loved most is that the whole feel of this place perfectly matches the idea of “going to an island to actually rest.” No need to rush out sightseeing first thing in the morning; come back from the sea, sit in the breeze, watch the sunset, grab something to eat, then stroll back to your room nice and slow. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Koh Phi Phi with gorgeous sea views and a peaceful atmosphere, this is another spot I’d love for you to pin on your list.
