When it comes to places to stay on Koh Lipe that are almost unfairly beautiful, this one is definitely on the list. It’s a luxury resort on Koh Lipe that has been open for quite a while, yet it still feels fresh and polished, with the kind of details that make you think “wow” the moment you arrive.

It recently received a Michelin 1 Key — the only hotel on Koh Lipe to do so. Honestly, that’s no exaggeration, because every element really comes together: the location, the design, the atmosphere and the whole experience of relaxing here.

Tropical Luxury Design

The resort is designed in a Tropical Luxury style that suits the sea just right — not overdone, and never competing with nature. Every room has a private-villa feel that’s calm and secluded. There’s also a newly opened zone with a modern room building and a large, absolutely beautiful shared swimming pool.

The Pool Access Room

On this trip I chose a Pool Access room, and I have to say… just opening the door was a real “wow” moment. The room is huge and really well laid out, with a minibar corner, a dressing area and a spacious bathroom with a tub for a long, relaxing soak.

The bedroom has a cozy, warm feel, with a big and genuinely comfortable bed, plus a work corner and a lounge corner. And the biggest highlight of this room: open the door… and you can slip straight into the pool. It’s a Pool Access room you’ll actually use, not one that only looks good in photos.

Location & Beach

Another thing I found really impressive is the resort’s location. It sits right on Sunrise Beach, soaking up the full morning sun, with beautifully colored water and a fairly private beach where you can gaze out over the sea all the way to the horizon.

Activities

• Kayak or paddleboard out to Koh Kra (เกาะกละ) at your own relaxed pace
• Book a boat trip to swim at Koh Adang, the beautiful sandy beaches of Koh Rawi, and the Jabang Channel (ร่องน้ำจาบัง) with its seven-colored coral

Boketto Restaurant

The resort’s main beachfront restaurant offers all-day dining, with both Thai and international dishes. The food is tasty and the space is airy, with a sea breeze blowing all day long. Eating while looking out at the sea is so enjoyable that you won’t want to get up.

Getting There

• Fly into Hat Yai Airport — I recommend choosing a flight that lands before 9:00 a.m.
• Travel to Pak Bara Pier, which takes about 2 hours
• Take a boat to Koh Lipe for about another 1 hour 30 minutes

Final Thoughts

It’s not just a beautiful place to stay — it’s a resort that makes a trip to Lipe “truly perfect,” and you instantly understand why it earned a Michelin 1 Key. If you’re looking for a bucket-list stay you should experience at least once in your life, this is it.
