A seaside escape in Hua Hin – Khao Tao that gives you both a resort atmosphere and all the convenience of a big hotel.

This is another place I, Mob, want to recommend to anyone who loves “chilling right by the sea” but still wants everything a true 4-star resort offers. It’s beautifully designed and very modern. The hotel sits right on Khao Tao Beach, so you can walk straight down to the sea, and the view is so good it needs no filter.

Rooms

The rooms are spacious with understated, luxurious resort-style decor, and there are several types to choose from: pool access rooms where you can step into the pool straight from your room, or sea view rooms for watching the sunrise from bed. I chose the Deluxe Seaview room, and the moment you open the door the sea view is served right up to your bed. The bed is super comfortable, and there’s a balcony to step out and catch the breeze.

A water park for families

Families and groups of friends, don’t miss this! There’s a water park and a swimming pool on site, so you can splash around all day. It’s great for kids, and the design is inspired by life under the sea and coral reefs.

Food and Carapace Beach Club

Breakfast is really good, with both Thai and international dishes, everything from rice porridge to crispy bacon, plus fragrant coffee. In the evening, head to Biscay restaurant or the stylish beachfront Carapace Beach Club, which serves comfort food and drinks from Starbucks. Even if you’re not staying here, you can drop by.

Location

It’s in the Khao Tao area, about 10 minutes from Hua Hin town. Perfect whether you just want a chilled-out stay or a seaside spot to work from on a workcation.
